Description
Exciting news:
There’s a new practice coming to Manchester. Having conquered the capital and established themselves as a major player the company have ambitious plans. They recognise Manchester as an important place in the future of UK architecture and they’re making a major commitment to the city.
The opportunity:
It’s vital that the new studio continues to produce the calibre of work they’ve become synonymous with in London. To ensure that they maintain that reputation in a new city they’re looking for an exceptional Project Architect to join them. It’s rare that such an opportunity presents itself for the right design- led and passionate individual and there’s excellent career progression available. They’ve already established a very healthy pipeline of projects and the demands of the schemes will facilitate quick growth.
The position will ultimately lead to running your own large- scale jobs, but if you’re not quite at that stage or you’ve worked on a smaller scale training will be given. Perhaps you’re frustrated with lack of opportunity and feel you could be given more autonomy. They’re happy to support the right individual and take your skills to the next level.
Your skills:
The role would suit an ambitious and talented architect with excellent design skills and a proven track record of producing high calibre work. Previous experience of either office or hotel projects would be an advantage, but as a multi- disciplinary practice architects from other backgrounds can be accommodated. What’s important to them is your ambition and talent, a strong educational background and excellent interpersonal skills. They can work with the rest. As the practice they almost exclusively use Revit.
What you’ll get in return:
In return you’ll initially make up part of a small team at an exciting time for fantastic practice. Within twelve months they anticipate a medium sized office so it’s a great time to join them from the ground up. Salary is competitive and there are a host of other benefits as part of the package.
