The practice:
An opportunity has become available for a Project Architect to join a small studio in the Northern Quarter Manchester City Centre. The current team is formed of a passionate group of architects with excellent design skills. Known for producing innovative work, they have developed a solid reputation for producing high quality medium scale buildings.
The role:
The Project Architect will work with autonomy outside of the restrictions of a large corporate company. There’s a large degree of flexibility in the role, and you’ll run your own jobs with full ownership of the projects. You’ll also manage client relationships and provide an excellent level of service.
Your skills:
The ability to take a job from inception to completion is essential as you’ll take full responsibility for the projects. Strong design skills, a good level of technical competence, and detailed knowledge of UK building regulations will ensure success in the role. As the project architect role involves extensive client contact the ability to communicate ideas articulately is also important.
