Description

An exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative property organisation in Manchester, who are currently seeking an experienced SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER to join their team. Our client is passionate about delivering a high-quality service to landlords and tenants, combining a proactive approach with modern technology and a strong focus on accountability.

Based at their city-centre office, the successful candidate will take responsibility for their own residential property portfolio, overseeing the full tenancy lifecycle while providing guidance and support to colleagues within the wider Property Management team.

Duties and responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Managing landlord and tenant relationships, acting as the main point of contact for your portfolio.
  • Overseeing the full tenancy lifecycle, including move-ins, move-outs, renewals and tenancy paperwork.
  • Coordinating property maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and monitoring costs and standards.
  • Ensuring properties meet all relevant safety and compliance requirements.
  • Managing deposit deductions, rent arrears and tenancy-related disputes.
  • Handling complaints and complex issues professionally, providing practical solutions where possible.
  • Advising landlords on property maintenance, compliance and tenancy matters.
  • Maintaining accurate property records and updating the company’s property management systems.
  • Working closely with Lettings, Maintenance and Finance teams to ensure an efficient service.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice.
  • Assisting with complex cases and identifying opportunities to improve processes and service standards.

This is a busy and varied role, ideal for an experienced Property Manager looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential property management, with a good understanding of tenancy legislation, compliance and landlord obligations.

You must be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing a busy portfolio, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to handle challenging situations professionally and support colleagues when needed is essential. Experience with property management systems such as Reapit or Goodlord would be advantageous, as would an ARLA Propertymark qualification, although this is not essential.

Our client is offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience, plus bonus, with an OTE of £35,000. Benefits include ARLA training, company events, team socials and incentives. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding business offering genuine opportunities for career progression.

This is an excellent opportunity not to be missed. Please send your CV to Stephanie Jones to be considered for the role.
